I just noticed the "current location" space. Is it a new feature or am I just stupid? To save face, maybe I should just say it's because I haven't posted in a while.
So I didn't get to work on what I promised in my last post-- nevermind what that is. I got to see the bayaws again after abstaining quite long from the blur of Monday abandon. I had dinner with
weepy_devotchka and Peachy and introduced them to the american mango crumble. It's your basic serving of ripe mangoes, chilled and topped with vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, and crushed graham crackers. I know anyone can make it at home but I'm willing to pay sixty bucks to get it served to me fast. I got addicted as a freshman, eating it at gigs, before and after classes, in the morning on the way to school and on the way home. I'm not as crazy about the treat as I used to be but I still love it and it's always nice to share good things with friends.
Javie, Javi, and Marie followed us to dinner then we all went to Cafe Isabela to meet with the rest of the Monday group. Sigh, Naya, and Kael were already there when we arrived then Joel and Wappy followed. A couple of hours later Carl graced us with his fashion. We were complete save for Arkaye whose whereabouts I know nothing of. Sabi niya, "text, text na lang sa Friday," so I guess I will have to meet up with Arkaye, Mr. Long-lost Physicist, and others before
ecsamar's book launch.
I was just chatting with Kimie. It's crazy how, after graduating from everything, I might have to start and end my birthday with Heightsers. I don't know what else to say. It's crazy.

I met with
amaranth_blooms and the other kids at around noon today. Yeah, as if I'm not a kid myself! I gave a couple of reminders and asked them about their plans. We're having our turnover dinner this Saturday. Seeing that the current editors have the food covered, I asked them what else the old editors (that's finally us!) should bring. They told me to bring strippers.
phylicia86 and Louise, your Filipino editors have the most concrete recruitment plans. The best I've heard in four years! Ehe, can you hear the sarcasm? Not that recruiting strippers for staffers is a bad thing anyway. =p
I stayed chatting with Niko and the others until around five thirty because it rained hard and I didn't want to navigate through puddles on my way home. I waited for my ride instead and learned a lot of things.

( GUESS WHO: blind item for Heightsers and some Guidoneers )2) Vocab lesson:
akosirap, remember when you YM-ed me before, telling me that "gulaman" is jellyfish in Filipino? Yes, I believed you and I shared it with Niko, who had a Fil-Eng dictionary in hand, and Kevin. Sabi nila, "hindi ba 'jelly' lang yun?" Waaaah! I am confused. 0_o Is this another one of your corny jokes? If it's not funny, I swear that I will get back at you! Rawr! :p
